Expert evidence and causation: Tuesday 12th December 2017 Following the decision of the Court of Appeal in Wood v TUI UK Limited the focus has shifted from the nature of the duty owed by tour operators in food poisoning claims to the issue of causation.  The last seminar in the series will examine the science behind the ingestion of the pathogens most commonly seen in these claims, how they are transmitted and the kind of evidence a trial judge will find most convincing in relation to causation.
