Andrew practises at 1 Chancery Lane and is a Master of the Bench of Inner Temple. He has been an arbitrator since 1988, a CEDR mediator since 1993 and travels internationally in that capacity and as a mediation advocate, trainer, advisor and consultant to governments, judiciaries, Bars and companies.

He is Convenor of the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates, Director of the Association of Mediation Assessors, Trainers and Instructors and a member of the Bar ADR Panel, the Independent Standards Commission of the International Mediation Institute and Co-Chair of the IMI Mediation Advocacy Appraisal Sub-Committee. He is currently a visiting mediation and dispute management trainer to the Hong Kong, Lagos and Nepal Bar Associations, the Judicial Academy of the Nepal Supreme Court, the Nepal International ADR Centre, the Thai International Arbitration Centre, the Nigerian Federal Inland Revenue Service and the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. He is an advisor on mediation to the Turkish Court of Cassation and the Association of Turkish Bars.

Andrew conducts corporate and legal training and consultancy in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Oman, Kuala Lumpur, Amsterdam, Goa, Paris, Abuja, Johannesburg and Krakow and holds a chair in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution Studies in the USA. He is the author and editor of nearly 50 books, and a widely acknowledged expert in the field of specialist mediation advocacy, which he helped to originate.

Since 2005 Andrew has also been a Professor of Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution Studies, Rushmore University and since 2006 he has acted as a sometime visiting lecturer in Dispute Resolution for the LLM/MA courses, SOAS and UCL, University of London.
Education
Andrew attended the University of Southampton, Rushmore University, Birkbeck College University of London, and Nixon University LA. He holds the following degrees: LLB, MBA and PhD (Law). His particular field of study is Law, Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution with a research PhD in Mediation/ADR dynamics focused on decision-making processes in Evaluative Mediation and ENE, methodology and application in wider ADR spectrums.
