Laura was called to the Bar in 2001 and acts in valuable, complex, sensitive and high profile claims for claimants and defendants in the fields of clinical negligence, personal injury and police law. She has long been recognised as a leading junior in all of her areas of practice.
Speaking of her appointment, Head of Chambers Simon Readhead QC said:
“Laura’s impressive achievements at the Bar are today recognised by her formal swearing in as Queen’s Counsel. To her many clients, Laura is empathetic and hardworking but also knowledgeable, incisive and very determined. As a colleague in Chambers she is reassuring and compassionate but always authoritative – the sort of person to whom others instinctively listen and then follow. Everyone at 1 Chancery Lane joins with me in congratulating Laura and in wishing her every success as she formally takes up her new and fully deserved appointment.”
Congratulations to Laura.
