R (Alcock) v Parole Board

Although a delay in the listing of an oral hearing before the Parole Board had given rise to a breach of the claimant prisoner's rights under the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.5(4), it was not appropriate, given the lack of "very special circumstances", to grant him redress by directing that his case should be heard before those of other prisoners.
