    Roderick has developed a busy practice since joining Chambers in 2008 following successful completion of his pupillage here. It covers the breadth of Chambers’ work including professional discipline; personal injury and travel; professional negligence; police; property; and insurance (especially complex policy response issues).

    Roderick has a particular interest in regulatory and disciplinary work both for and against regulators and has developed a specialist practice defending individuals subject to regulatory action by what is now the Financial Conduct Authority. He also advises on non-contentious matters relating to financial regulatory compliance.

    Roderick came to the Bar with a First Class degree in Modern History from Brasenose College, Oxford and a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, London. Prior to joining Chambers, he worked in the in-house legal department of a film production and financing company. In 2010 he was awarded the Pegasus Scholarship to Hong Kong where he worked for three months in the International Arbitration Centre and the High Court.

    Roderick is recognised within the Legal 500 2017 "A counsel of choice for the MET in sensitive cases."
