With a reputation for expertise in the law of professional negligence, indemnity insurance and international arbitration work; Richard joined 1 Chancery Lane in 2017 following a career as a solicitor in the City of London and over 21 years as an equity partner and two 3 year terms as a member of the Global Board of DAC Beachcroft LLP.
Having held additional positions as a Designated Member of the firm and appointments to the business services executive and audit committee, Richard was also head of DAC Beachcroft’s national professional indemnity team. He relinquished that role in 2007 when he was appointed global client relationship partner for a key insurer client leading BD and CRM activity for the international business.
Richard was called to the bar in 2012 and has joined chambers to specialise in professional negligence, indemnity insurance and data protection work.
