    Lisa specialises in all aspects of clinical negligence, police law, personal injury and coronial law.

    Lisa is recommended by Chambers and Partners in the field of Personal Injury work. Lisa represents a large number of public bodies (local authorities, social services, police authorities, Health Authorities) and insurers in the full range of personal injury work. Lisa’s work includes Highways claims, Occupiers’, misfeasance, stress at work and issues of vicarious liability. Lisa also has extensive experience of defending those claims which are alleged to be fraudulent and handling vexatious litigants.

    Lisa acts for Defendants in civil actions against the police and is recommended by Chambers and Partners in this field. She defends a full range of false imprisonment, assault, malicious prosecution and unlawful search claims. She has experience of dealing with discrimination claims, including the appointment of assessors and determining issues of capacity.

    Lisa frequently appears in the Coroners Court. She represents a range of interested persons including families, local authorities, NHS Trusts and Mental Health Trust (including services provided within prisons), Employers and Police Authorities. She has experience of both jury and non-jury inquests.
