Edward acts for both claimants and defendants and has expertise in a broad range of high value claims. His police work is exclusively for defendants; he appeared in the House of Lords in the leading cases of Van Colle v Chief Constable of Hertfordshire Police and Smith v Chief Constable of Sussex Police.
Edward is a member of the Personal Injuries Bar Association executive committee and a contributor to its Personal Injuries Handbook. He is also on the editorial board of Kemp and Kemp on "The Quantum of Damages" and is a contributor to “Emergency Services Law and Liability” published by Jordans.
