Conor has a varied civil practice, with particular specialism in Professional Liability and discipline, Complex Personal Injury, Property and Commercial matters.
Conor has developed significant expertise in the field of Professional Liability, having spent seven months on secondment with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as well as acting on Police regulatory matters. He has acted as sole counsel in a number of high-profile multi-day trials, relating to dishonesty, negligence occasioning serious injury, sexual and financial misconduct, capability, impaired fitness to practice by reasons of health and expert witness evidence.
Conor also has an extensive and impressive Property and Commercial practice, including experience of insolvency, landlord & tenant, real property, employment and company & partnership disputes, as well as commercial arbitration and mediation.
Prior to pupillage Conor spent two years working with a leading insurance law firm, gaining experience across regulatory, employment, leisure, travel and public sector teams. Conor wrote five chapters on tortious liability in the supplement to the 13th edition of Bingham and Berrymans’ Personal Injury and Motor Claims Cases (2012).
